Workshop on the Impact of Revolution 4.0 on Accounting S1 Curriculum

On Thursday (20/6), the Accounting Study Program held a workshop with the theme “The Impact of Industrial Revolution 4.0 on S1 Accounting and Learning Curriculum Courses” by Syaiful Ali, MIS., Ph.D., Ak., CA. He is an Accounting lecturer at the University of Gajah Mada who masters in the field of Accounting Information Systems. This workshop was attended by several lecturers including from Accounting UMY and Accounting UNISA. This event was held at the UMY FEB Meeting Room E3 Building, 2nd Floor.

The purpose of this workshop is none other than as the responsibility for educators to keep abreast of the industrial revolution 4.0 especially in the field of Accounting so that it can create graduates who are ready to work in accordance with the latest industry demand. The speaker said that in the accounting curriculum it is necessary to add courses according to the development of the 4.0 industrial revolution. In this case, Analysis Data is a matter that needs to be included in the learning process for students. Finally, some participants were asked to ask questions related to the question and answer session. The hope of this workshop is that there will be new developments from accounting study programs in Indonesia, especially at UMY to plan the curriculum by following the development of the 4.0 industrial revolution.
