Opportunities And Challenges Of International Accounting Graduates In The Era Of Globalization

On Saturday 20 May 2017 International Program of Accounting (IPAcc) Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta held a seminar at Jambon Resto Jl. Kabupaten KM. 3, Trihanggo Village, Gamping, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The seminar was attended by all IPAcc students and presented 2 speakers namely Sukma Dwie Priardi who is Manager of Bank Syariah Mandiri Area Jateng-DIY and Aditia Taruna Minang Sundawan who is LP3M Staff Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. This seminar discusses various things about the opportunities and challenges for international accounting graduates in the era of globalization, especially for IPAcc students.

The seminar starts at 10.00 am which is divided into 3 sessions. The first session is the presentation of presentation materials by Aditia Taruna Minang Sundawan. Aditia delivered a presentation with the opportunity theme of accounting graduates and expose everything that inspires the spirit of IPAcc majors students to continue to be passionate in nurturing accounting education. The second session of the speaker was delivered by Sukma Dwie Priardi with a presentation theme that was not much different from the first speaker. While the third session is a question and answer session conducted by speakers and seminar participants.

The purpose of the seminar is to motivate and provide knowledge of what opportunities we can find after graduating from the International Program of Accounting. In addition, the other goal is to familiarize among fellow IPAcc students.
