Bridging and Outbound IPAcc UMY

Saturday-Sunday (02-03 / 11), the International Program of Accounting (IPAcc) held a Gathering and Outbound in the context of closing bridging activities that were carried out at the beginning of the 2019/2020 Odd Semester. The purpose of the bridging program is to introduce the academic atmosphere of the university to new students so that they can adjust to learning activities at the university or other activities that support their talents. This time the Gathering was attended by IPAcc Students of 2017, 2018, and 2019 as many as 55 people and several staff. The gathering and outbound activities took place in Pulesari Tourism Village, Turi, Sleman.

The meeting was also attended by Ms. Arum Indrasari as the Director of IPAcc and Mr. Ahim Abdurahim as the head of the Accounting Study Program and Mr. Sigit Arie Wibowo as the secretary of the Accounting Study Program.

In the remarks given by Ms. Arum Indrasari, she wished that after the gathering was held, students would feel happy and as a refreshing event for students. Mr. Ahim Abdurahim as the head of the Accounting Study Program in his speech also emphasized to students to become accountants who have character, competence and integrity.

This kind of activity is expected to increase intimacy and strengthen solidarity among fellow IPAcc students of FEB UMY. In addition, IPAcc hopes that there will be a lot of value added that can be developed, such as increasing student soft skills, leadership spirit, fraternity, solidarity, responsibility, cooperation and a spirit of sharing.
