Alhamdulillah the Monsoon “Uniqlop” team won the 2nd place in MERPC 2018 and represented Indonesia in the ASEAN Final in Singapore next September

Thursday (9/8). Alhamdulillah, the Monsoon “Uniqlop” UMY team won the 2nd place in the 2018 Indosnesian Final Monsoonsim Enterprise Resource Planning Competition (MERPC) held by Monsoon Academy and supported by SAP and MonsoonSIM Partners. The Uniqlop team also became one of the teams representing Indonesia with the Uc Warriors team from Ciputra University who won first place in this competition. The two teams will represent Indonesia in the ASEAN Final which will be held in Singapore next September.

MERPC 2018 Indonesian Final will be held on 7-9 Agustus 2018 at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta which will be followed by the 2 best teams from 15 universities throughout Indonesia including Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarata, Universitas Budi Luhur, Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Galuh, Universitas Hasanuddin, Universitas Soegijapranata, Universitas Pasundan, Universitas Ciputra, Universitas President, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya, Banking School Indonesia, UISI, Univeristas Muhammadiyah Sidoharjo and Universitas Podomoro. Through MERPC, Monsoon Academy has aspirations to encourage students to be individuals who are ready to face business challenges in the future and encourage students to make business decisions later.

In this competition, UMY sent 2 teams (Uniqlop team and Tryhard team) which all members came from students / i study programs
Accounting. Both teams are equally competent in the preliminary round where both are divided into groups A and B which will then be taken by the 6 best teams from each group. The Tryhard team managed to occupy the 4th position in group A and the Uniqlop team managed to win the group B, both automatically entered the grand final which won the 1st and 2nd place tickets to represent Indonesia in the ASEAN Final with 10 other teams. The final result of the grand final of the Uniqlop team managed to occupy 2nd place and Tryhard’s team was in 9th position.
