Nine lecturers of Accounting UMY participated in Campus Tour Program to 2 countries, Malaysia and Vietnam, with the main agenda of visiting University of Economics Ho Chi Mint City (UEH) Vietnam. The program that was held on February 6-9, 2017 involving lecturers from deparment of Accounting and Management was intended to introduce UMY as well as initiating the possibility of cooperation between the two universities. The group from UMY was warmly welcomed by UEH that was represented by Dean of School of Accounting Assoc. Prof. Vo Van Nhi, Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Xuan Hun, and UEH lecturing staffs. The discussion went familiar with the screening of both side’s profile video continued by a discussion regarding cooperation possibility in the future. Next, The group paid a visit to the campus environtment and it was ended by UMY giving souvenir to UEH.

The Campus Tour Program is created by the university intended to give chances for UMY lecturers to do study tour to foreign universities in order to increase academic cooperation. The program is part of internationalization program series in line with the university’s goal to achieve the motto of “Muda Mendunia”.
